ICSCRM 2027 Booking Terms and Conditions
About ICSCRM 2027
ICSCRM 2027 is the 24th International Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials, organised by CS Connected Ltd. The event includes conference sessions, tutorials, networking activities, an exhibition, and related in-person and virtual events. These terms apply to all registrations, attendance, participation, sponsorship and exhibition activities. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Code of Conduct.
By registering for or attending the event, you agree to these terms. If you book on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for ensuring they are aware of and accept them. We may update these terms from time to time and any revised version will be published on the event website https://www.icscrm2027.org/
The contracting organiser is CS Connected Ltd, whose registered office is at Centre 7, Malthouse Avenue, Pontprennau, County of Cardiff, Wales, CF23 8FN.
The event is for strictly for professional and business delegates, unless otherwise specified, e.g. for Student or Accompanying Persons tickets.

General Attendance
You must comply with all applicable laws, venue rules and event policies while attending ICSCRM 2027. We may refuse admission to, or remove from, the event anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or who does not comply with these terms. No refund will be due in these circumstances.
You are responsible for arranging your own travel, accommodation, insurance and any visa requirements. We are not responsible for losses arising from travel arrangements, visa refusals, or other costs incurred in attending the event.
Attendees must behave professionally and respectfully at all times and must not conduct unauthorised marketing, promotion or solicitation activities.
Event Changes and Cancellation
Programmes, speakers, venues, dates and formats may change. We may alter, postpone or cancel the event if necessary. If the event is postponed, registrations will normally be transferred to the new date and no refund will be provided.
If the event is cancelled, our liability is limited to refunding the fees paid, less any payment processing charges already incurred. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or any other consequential costs or losses.
Photography and Recording
Photography, audio recording and video recording by attendees are prohibited unless we have given prior written permission. By attending the event in open areas such as the exhibition hall, networking events, and foyer, you agree that photographs, video or audio recordings may be taken by us or authorised third parties and used for promotional, editorial and commercial purposes without additional consent or payment.
Delegate Tickets (Business Delegates)
ICSCRM 2027 is primarily an international business-to-business (B2B) event. Delegate tickets are intended for professional attendees.
Ticket prices are published at the time of registration and may change for future bookings. Once purchased, tickets are issued electronically to the registered attendee and must not be resold without our written permission. Unauthorised resale or transfer may result in cancellation of the ticket without compensation.
Where an attendee can no longer attend, a name change may be requested no later than 14 days before the event. Approval is at our discretion.
Refunds for B2B Bookings
Delegate registrations, sponsorship packages, exhibition space and other business purchases are non-refundable unless we choose to provide a refund, transfer, credit or alternative arrangement at our sole discretion, or where required by law. Any refund granted may be reduced to cover payment processing fees, bank charges and other reasonable costs already incurred.
Accompanying Persons Tickets
Accompanying Persons tickets are intended for non-delegate guests and are subject to consumer (B2C) terms.
These tickets provide access to:
- The exhibition hall
- The evening Welcome Reception (Sunday 19th September 2027)
- Any reception and networking functions specifically designated for accompanying persons
Accompanying Persons tickets do not include access to:
- The technical conference programme
- Tutorial Day (available for purchase separately)
- The Gala Dinner (available for purchase separately)
- Industrial Sessions
- Any delegate-only sessions or activities
Accompanying Persons have a statutory right to cancel your booking and receive a full refund within 14 days of the date of booking. After the 14-day period has expired, no refund will be available.
All other event rules and attendee conduct requirements continue to apply.
Student Tickets
Student tickets are subject to consumer (B2C) terms.
Student tickets are available only to individuals who:
- Are currently enrolled in education;
- Will graduate during 2027; or
- Will commence a recognised course of study during 2027.
Proof of eligibility will be requested during registration. All student registrations are subject to approval by the organiser. Approval of a student booking does not guarantee a place until payment has been received.
Payment must be made within 30 days of approval or before the event begins, whichever occurs first. If payment is not received by the deadline, the place may be released and offered to another attendee.
Student bookings have a statutory right to cancel your booking and receive a full refund within 14 days of the date of booking. After the 14-day period has expired, no refund will be available.
Event App and Online Services
Where an official event app is provided, you will be invited to create an attendee profile and participate in networking activities. Use of the app and any event websites must be lawful, respectful and secure. You must not misuse the platform, upload malicious software, collect personal information without consent, interfere with security measures or copy event content without permission. We may suspend access where these rules are breached.
Intellectual Property
All event content, presentations, branding, materials and intellectual property remain the property of CS Connected Ltd, event partners, sponsors, speakers or other rights holders. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, record or commercially exploit event content without prior written permission.
User Content and Communications
If you submit content, messages or contributions through the event website or app, you remain responsible for that content. You grant us permission to use it in connection with the event. We may remove any content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, infringes intellectual property rights, breaches privacy rights, or otherwise violates these terms.
Liability
Event content, presentations and materials are provided for information purposes only. Views expressed by speakers are their own. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business opportunities, anticipated savings, goodwill, data or income. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant ticket or booking, less any applicable processing charges. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, interruptions or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, government action, industrial disputes, utility failures, supplier failures or technical outages.
Age Restrictions
Attendance by anyone under 18 is subject to safeguarding and venue requirements. Attendees aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and any accompanying person must hold the appropriate registration.
Sponsors and Exhibitors
Exhibition space, sponsorship packages and stand bookings are offered exclusively on a B2B basis. Sponsors and exhibitors must comply with all health and safety requirements, venue rules and organiser instructions. Sponsorships, exhibition space, equipment rentals and related orders are generally non-refundable unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Sponsors and exhibitors are responsible for any personal data they collect directly from attendees and must comply with applicable data protection laws. CS Connected Ltd will only provide anonymised or aggregated attendee information except where individuals have provided consent for their data to be shared as part of the registration process.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the ICSCRM 2027 Privacy Policy. By registering, attending or participating in the event, you agree to the collection and processing of your information as described in that policy.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to the event or these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
