Newport, Wales is well connected by air, rail, and road, making it easy for delegates to travel from across the UK and around the world. Detailed travel information, including travel by air, rail, car, and bus will be provided closer to the event.

By Train
The Newport (South Wales) Station is the closest station to the venue. There will be a free bus for delegates provided by ICSCRM 2027 to get to the ICC Wales event venue from this station.
As ICSCRM 2027 is hosted at the ICC Wales, delegates are able to take advantage of a special ICC Wales rail rate with Great Western Rail for up to 50% off GWR services to Newport. Further details are available here.
If you decide to stay in accommodation outside of Newport, we recommend you consider railway connections to Newport Station (South Wales) to take advantage of the free bus service.
For delegates staying in Cardiff, we recommend using the Transport for Wales “pay as you go” tap in-and-out service for the best prices.
Visa Information
Most visitors to the UK need either an ETA or a visa before travelling. What you need depends on:
- your nationality, and
- why you’re coming to the UK.
You usually need an ETA rather than a visa if you’re from Europe, the USA, Australia, Canada or certain other countries. It costs £20 and is completed online.
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and circumstances and all attendees are responsible for checking requirements before travelling. Please refer to the official UK Government guidance to check if you need a visa.
During the ICSCRM 2027 registration process, you will be able to say if you require a visa support letter. This letter is only to provide evidence that you are a registered delegate of the conference, as ICSCRM 2027 is unable to sponsor any visas. Further details regarding visa letters will be provided to registered delegates.
